Chennai - Mamallapuram (58 km / 1 ½ hrs)

Morning after sightseeing of Chennai proceed to Mamallapuram enroute visit Crocodile farm. On arrival check-in to hotel. Evening relax on the beach. Overnight.

Mamallapuram

After breakfast sightseeing of Mamallapuram. The major attractions are Arjuna's Penance carved in relief on the face of a huge rock, Shore Temples - These beautiful temples are ravaged by wind and sea. The two spires of the temples contain a shrine for Lord Vishnu and for Lord Shiva. Overnight.

Mamallapuram - Puducherry (130 km / 3 ½ hrs)

Morning proceed to Puducherry. On arrival check-in to hotel followed by sightseeing  of Puducherry which offers a versatile choice ranging from historic buildings, museums, art galleries, meditation centers, scenic beauty to sun-kissed beaches. Visit Aaayi Mandappam known as the park Monument, Bharathi Park, Sri Aurobindo Ashram which exhudes a spiritual aura. Overnight.

Puducherry - Thanjavur (180 km / 4 ½ hrs)

Morning drive to Thanjavur/Tanjore known as Rome in Europe or Egypt in Africa. On arrival check-in to  hotel followed by visit to Sri Brihadeswara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva with its architectural excellence. Art Gallery for fabulous collection of bronze icons, stone sculpture and pieces of art. Saraswati Mahal Library is the most remarkable library in India. Overnight.

Thanjavur - Trichy (55 km / 1 ½ hrs) – Madurai (130 km / 3 ½ hrs)

Morning drive to Madurai which is called the `Athens of the East. Enroute visit Trichy and Rock Fort Temple which crowns a gigantic piece of rock, soaring 83 meters upwards, from the encircling plains. Srirangam (Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu). Arrive Madurai. Check in to hotel. Afternoon visit the world famous 12th century most architectural rich Meenakashi Temple with its hall of 1000 pillars.  Overnight.

Morning proceed to see the Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Vandiyur Mariamman the area of the tank and the island pavilion with a garden in the center. Thirupparankunram, one of the six houses of Lord Subramanya, the second son of Lord Siva. The rock-cut temple of Subramanya here is thronged with pilgrims on all days of special worship. Overnight.

Madurai - Kanyakumari – Kovalam

Morning same day excursion to Kanyakumari the land of virgin goddess where Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal meet. Is famous for the Amman Temples - a symbol of unity and sanctity, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a blend of all architectural styles of India. Evening witness the sunset - is an experience by itself.  Overnight at Kovalam

Morning sightseeing of Kovalam. It is known as the "Paradise of the South". This dreamland is an evergreen, serene, pleasant climatic and enticing beach destination.  Witness how the unending sea touches the everlasting sky. Morning Excursion of Thiruvananthapuram for sightseeing of various temples & Kuyhitamalika Museum. Visit Veli Tourist Village which has an excellent waterfront park with a wide range of aqua entertainment facilities like fishponds, wading pools and landscaped garden. Shangumugham Beach where one can watch the amazing sunset.  Overnight.
